Attorney Profile

I pride myself on my ability to listen to each and every potential client to determine your needs and expectations. Taking this extra time allows me to better formulate a personal plan to help you achieve your specific goals. I prefer to handle most cases on a flat fee basis. This gives you, the client, the security of knowing you will always be able to contact me to ask questions without the worry of how much that call or email is going to cost you. This also gives you peace of mind as you know the entire fee for a case up front, with no hidden surprises. You will have access to me via phone or email and I will always call you back, if I happen to be unavailable at the time you call. I am not just an attorney handling your case….I am YOUR attorney.

I was born in Orlando, Florida and received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, with honors, from the University of Central Florida in 1988. I was fortunate enough to serve as the Managing Editor of the Barry Law Review while receiving my Law Degree from the Barry University School of Law in 2004.

I am a member of the Florida Bar and am admitted in all Florida State courts, as well as the Middle District of Florida for Federal court. My practice is limited to the all areas of family law and immigration law.

I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and previously worked in law enforcement before becoming a licensed attorney. I am very involved in public education, having served as the founding president of the first Charter High School in Orange County, Florida, in addition to being a past member of several standing committees for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

I am a member of the Family Law Sections of the Florida Bar, as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Prior to starting my own firm, I worked for a law firm in both Florida and Texas. I was the managing attorney for the El Paso office and concentrated substantially in deportation/removal defense of both detained and non-detained clients.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I look forward to meeting with you to see how I can assist you through your particular situation.
