Attorney Profile

Steven A. Young

The United States of America has long been known for being one of the most affluent nations where anyone can come to flourish and prosper, no matter their country of origin. My name is Steven A. Young and as an immigration attorney, it is my goal to provide each and every one of my clients with the highest level of service and representation in their immigration matter. Personalized service is what sets this firm apart, as well as taking the time to truly evaluate each one of my client's needs and expectations. By taking the time to create a solid case on your behalf, you can have the greatest opportunity to accomplish your goals, whatever they may be.

In the majority of cases my firm will charge an up-front fee at the beginning of a case, that way we can avoid confusion or frustration over legal costs. What's more, I encourage you to contact me any time you have questions or concerns, and you don't have to fear that you will be charged extra money for my time. This can give you the peace of mind you need to get all your questions answered, and without quality legal representation being out of reach and unaffordable.

The firm is entirely devoted to your wellbeing, and one important way we produce satisfied clients is by encouraging open communication. You will be given uninhibited access to me via phone or email communication; if I am in court, I will always return calls and respond to emails at my first available opportunity because you are important. Since immigration matters are time sensitive by nature, with S.A. Young Law Firm, P.A. you can trust that we will be your greatest legal advocate and we will take the time to work with you and do whatever it takes to further your goals and protect your interests.

In addition to immigration, I also operate a highly successful family law practice. After practicing family law for such a long period of time, I've come to truly realize that the most import aspect of my family law practice is listening to my clients. Every situation and family offers their own unique situation and having an attorney on your side that realizes and appreciates that, can mean the difference between a successful experience and one that is completely ineffective. Education and Experience

Born in Orlando, Florida, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors in 1988. I went on to earn my Juris Doctorate (law degree) from the Barry University School of Law in 2004. While attending law school, I had the distinct honor of serving as the Managing Editor for the Barry Law Review.

The Barry Law Review provides an open forum for scholars, practitioners and members to discuss critical legal issues that are of national and local concern. The Review is managed and edited exclusively by the school's upper class students. In order for a student to be a member, they must be invited and invitations are only given to students that have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements.

Today, I am a member of the Florida Bar, am admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, including the Middle District of Florida for Federal Court. I am a member of the Family Law Sections of the Florida Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association; my areas of practice are limited to family and immigration law.

Prior to attending law school, I had the great honor of serving our country in the United States Marine Corp, and working for the government in the field of law enforcement.

One of my passions is the field of public education, especially since education alone can significantly impact both young immigrants and underprivileged children, thus changing the course of their future for the better. Recognizing the importance of public education, I served as the founding president of the very first charter high school in Orange County, Florida, in addition to being a past member of several standing committees for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

Prior to starting S.A. Young Law Firm, P.A., I worked for a law firm in Florida and Texas, and was the managing attorney for the El Paso office where I concentrated on deportation and removal defense for detained and non-detained clients.

Thank you for visiting this website, we look forward to meeting with you to find out how we can assist you and help you through your particular immigration situation.
